Teacher - Brian Zunigha
We’ll learn about God’s global purpose and how all of us share in a joyful responsibly to engage in His mission.
9:00am & 11:00am - PRAYER ROOM
“First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, . . . This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth” (1 Timothy 2:1, 3–4).
As a congregation, we have covenanted to “not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, nor neglect to pray for ourselves and others.” We pray to our God out of devotion, love, and obedience to Him. We also believe that God uses the prayers of the Church to accomplish His will.
The Redeemer Prayer Room is an opportunity for believers to gather together to pray for our church, community, nation, and world. We pray that the Holy Spirit would transform people in our worship services. We pray that the name of Christ would be glorified in our community and nation. We pray that God would bless the ministry of our global workers and believers all over the world.
Our Prayer Room meets during both services (9am and 11am) each Sunday, and we encourage you to join us.
Purpose & Overview
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise. You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates” (Deuteronomy 6:4-9).
“I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect” (Romans 12:1-2).
The Equip classes at Redeemer Baptist Church are designed to train us up as disciples of Jesus Christ, encouraging us to be faithful witnesses for the gospel in every area of life, including family, community, work, and church.
